D1SCOVERY OF BODIES REPORTED TO BE 1NCORRECT INFORMANT ARRESTED

Rec. June 28, 5.5 p.m. Mexico City, June 28. Monday's reports of the discovery of the bodies of Barberan and Collar, the Spanish trans-Atlantic fiyers, who have been missing since leaving Ilavana en route here, is said to be incorrect. Senor Julio Alvarez del Vego, the Spanish Ambassador at Yera Cruz, after interviewing the two men, Manuel and Balzazar, who reported that they had found the wreeked plane and the hodies of the two airmen, has notified the embassy that the story cannot be substantiated. i Balzazar has been arrested and charged with giving false information. He said that he had not seen anything of the flyers or the plane but had merely been repeating what had been tol'd him.
