PARTY MEMBERS GIVEN CHANCE TO JOIN NAZIS

Rec. June 28, 8.25 p.m. Berlin, June 28. Dr. Hugenberg's N,ationalist party has been dissolved by ' "amicable agreement between Herr Hitler and the Nationalist leaders." As a result of the dissolution, the Nationalist leaders have joined the Nazi Parliamentary group. Dr. Hugenberg opposed the dissolution agreement but witbout voting. He declined to sign his party's death warrant and said that he intended to retire from politics. He is the higgest ne.wspaper owner in Germany, but owing to the press censorship, is unable to place his own papers before the public. The dissolution was signed by Hitler and three Nationalist leaders. The agreement states that Nationalists will be protected from discrimination and assault. Those at present in gaol will be released. Officially it is announced that those who joined the Nazi party by January 30 will be given two years in which to prove their loyalty. After that they will be enrolled in the party if they are satisfactory, but meanwhile they will be liable to punishment if they wear a brown shirt.
