The Farmers' Co-operative Auctioneering Co., Ltd., report having held their fortnightly Morrinsville sale ori Friday, when another good yarding of sheep and cattle again came forward. There was a large offering of fat sheep, upwards of 2000 being graded, while 1800 of them were fat lambs. There was good competition throughout, espeeially on the fat lambs, and a total clearance was effected at prices in advance of Frankton quotations. A choice pen of prime lambs offered on account of Messrs. Howie Bros., realised 25s 6d. Store Sheep. — The advertised line of North Auckland, East Coast and Tokomaru Bay sheep came forward in good condition and again met with a keen demand from a wide representation of buyers, the whole yarding changing hands on advanced prices from last sale. The Tokomaru Bay consignment comprised chiefly two-tooth ewes, on which competition was very keen, and a line of 356 ex-Waitahaia station realised 18s 2d. Another line of 689 ex-Moko Moko station sold from 16s to 16s 3d; fourand five-year-old ewes from the East Coast made from 12s to 13s; two-tooth ewes from the same district made up to 16s ld. Large consignments from North ' Auckland again met with a good reception, four- and five-year ewes making from 14s 7d to 15s 7d; while aged ewes sold from 12s to 13s 6d. Cattle. — An extra heavy yarding of fat cattle again was penned, prices being firmer on all classes. Store cows also showed a firmer tendency, while yearling heifers sold freely at late rates. Dairy Cattle. — There was again a very large yarding of dairy cattle, over 200 being graded, and these included the whole herd on account of Mrs. H. Brown, and one or two smaller herds. Competition was keen throughout for all good quality cattle, and prices were quite up to those ruling at clearance saies. Pigs. — A small yardins1 of pigs sold at late rates, the competition being keener for stores and weaners. Several very choice breeding sows came forward and were sold under very brisk competition at advanced prices.
