The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., Hamilton, report having held their usual stock sale at Otorohanga on Wednesday as follows: — , There was a full yarding of sheep, , which mainly comprised fat lambs and breeding ewes for which .there was keen competition a.nd advanced rates resulted. .1 pen of extra pnme hoggets on account of Mr. H. Grierson realised £1 3s ld. There was a comparatively small yarding of fat and store cattle and late rates were well maintained. The large emry of "dairies' was, with" few exceptions, of only poor quality, but the majority ehanged hands under the hammer. Extra heavy prime fat lambs 19s to 23s ld; heavy fat lambs 16s to 18s 6d; medium do., 13s to 15s; ligh o. 11s to 12s 6d; .store lambs 8s to 10s; SM. breeding ewes in lamb to b.D. rams, 8S 9d to 13s 9d; 2-th fat and forward wethers 15s 7d; light fat steers to £4 10s; fat cows £2 3s to £3; heavy boner Cows £1 10s to £1 l&s; medium do, £1 5s to £1 9s; light 15s to £1 2s; small yearling Jersey and
Jersey cross heifers £1 2s to £1 10s; choice I.C. heifers close to profit £6 15s to £7; later heifers £4 10s to £5 5s; small do., £2 15s to £3; sound young dairy cows, close to profit,, £5 to £6; later £3. 10s to £4 10s; inferdor £2 to £3-; light porkers £1 2s to £1 4s; large stores, 17s to £1; medium 14s to 16s; slips 10s to 13s; weaners, 5 s to 8s.
