Wellington, Thusrday. The conference of the Royal Agricultural Society approved the recommendation of a special sub-committee that five provincial districts be constituted, in each of which an organisation would be set up with the object of holding a Royal Show once in every five years. The districts were defined as follows: (1) Auckland provincial district, not including Gisborne; (2) the. West Coast districts of the North Island, Taranaki and Manawatu; (3) the East coast districts of the North Island, Gisborne, Hawkes Bay and Wairarapa; (4) Canterbury, Marlborough, Nelson and the West Coast of the South Island; (5) Otago and S'outhland.
