Rec. June 20, 5.5 p.m. Vienna, June 19. The Minister of Justice, broadeasting after a Cabinet meeting, announced tliai Cabinet had d'ecided ,to prohihit all Nazi activities in Austria. The wearing of badges and emblems of membership will be illegal. He stated that the Government had been fighting to avoid the extremities of bloodshed,. and was anxious for good relatiohs with Germahy, but recent events necessitated immediate strong action to maintain law and order. Major Foy, Minister of Public Security, stated that Nazis were responsibl'e for all recent outrages, ineluding an attempt to sabotage. Krems power station, by opening the sluices of the huge reservoir, which if they had succeeded, would have inundated six townships and deprived Salzburg district of electricity.
