The Astrea made a splendid landing and received a very cordial welcome from a large crowd. Father Sell, of Bathurst immensely enjoyed his first flight. Major Brackley, head of the Imperial Airways, who was most eourteous to everybody paid a tribute to Father Sell's goodness, saying that he had been a very good friend, and that the speaker was
glad to have had him on the trip. Major Brackley also enjoyed his first meal of kangaroo meat at Bathurst Island. The Astrea will be thrown open for inspection and refuelling to-night. The flight for Sydney will be resumed at daybreak. The Astrea was delayed by head winds and forced to land at the lonely mission station outpost on Bathurst Island. t
