Daladier, after conferring with the Minister of Commerce and Agriculture, reiterated the indispensibility of stabilisation and also the return to gold as a prelude to solving economic problems. It is felt that France should be no party to tariff agreements unless some form of stabilisation is a prelimiiiary condition.
