— By Telegraph — Copyright) .
Rec. June 15, 10.0 p.m. Sydney June 15. The full court to-day restored to the rolls of solicitors, Thomas Ernest Rofe, a prominent jcitizen, whose name was removed from the rolls 38 years ago, after his conviction for conspiracy to pervert the cause of justice in a notable divorce suit, in which concocted evidence of misconduct was brought against Mrs. Mary Butler. The Chief Justice said that the court exonerated Mr. Rofe from any suggestion that he was a party to the preparation of the concocted evidence. Mr. Rofe was at that time at a disadvantage because there was no court of criminal appeal. Mr. Rofe was 64 years of age today. He deelared that it was the finest birthday gift he had ever received.
