CATHOLIC LEAGUE
AFTERNOON AT TEA KIOSK. The first "at home" of the Rotorua branch of the Cath'olic Women's League was held at the Tea Kiosk, Government Gardens, last Wednesday afternoon. Bowls of autumn foliage and spring flowers looked attractive in the lounge room, where Mrs. C. Goodyer gave a most interesting address. Pianoforfe and vocal itemis by Mrs. A. Jones, Mrs. Fleming and Mrs. Pyman rendered dui'ing the aftsrnoon were much appreciafed, as also were the enjoyable elocutionary numbers given by Miss B. Harvey and Miss M. Sloane. Among those present were: — Mrs. Goodyer, Mrs. W. A. Thomsen, Mrs. F. L. Park, Mrs. E. Garroll, Mrs. ©.
