Hunting in the Bay The Bay of Plenty and Rotorua hounds hunted over the Papamoa country, on each side of Beach Road towards the coast on Wednesday afternoon. There was a large gathering, including riders from Rotorua, Whakatane, Matata, Paengaroa, Te Puke and Tauranga. Sport was keen, and there were good exhibitions of jumping. Afternoon tea was provided by the ladies. The hounds arrived at Tauranga on Wednesday night and will- hunt over Mount St. John and adjoining properties to-day. Mr. T. Jackson, Mayor of Rotorua, and Dr. Bertram will be among the followers.
