On the recommendation of the Finance committee regarding a communication from the Whakatane Retailers' Association. r&lating to the activitie? of.hawlters and the .licensing of itinerant traders, it was decided that the staff be instructed to enforce the bylaw relating td hawkerp, and that th'e hy-law relating to itinerant traders be ■amended .at a near .date tq ;provide for the charging of the maximum fee, £5. ■ Inspection of - Footpaths. . - • The chairman of the works commit'tee, Cr.
