TO HOLD MEETING ATTRACTIYE PROGRAMME TENTATIVELY DRAWN, UP DATE OFFICIALLY APPROVED Advice has been received that permission has given the Rotorua and Bay of Plenty Hunt Club to hold a totalisator meeting on July 29. The following tentative programme has been drawn up and' is under consideration: — (1) Members' Steeplechase Handicap, of £40. Second horse to receive £7 and third (horse £3 out of the „stake. For qualified hunters, season 1932-33 that have never won a race of any description at a totalisator m'eeting (point-to-point races excepted) at time of starting. Certificate required prior to starting. All horses an this race must have been trained for one month imniediately prior to the time of starting by owner, who must not at any time have received payment for training or riding a horse in any country. Gentlemen riders. Mdndmum weight 11 stone. Distance about 2! miles. Nomination 20/-. Acceptance 10/-. (2) Maiden Handicap, of £30. Second horse to receive £5 and third horse £3 out of the stake. For horses that have never won a flat race at a totalisator meeting prior to starting. Minimum weight 8 stone. Distance, 6 furlongs. Nomination 10/-. Acceptance 10/-. > (3) Hunters' Hurdle Race Handicap, of £30. Second horse to receive £5 and third horse £3 out of the stake. For qualified hunters, 1932-33 season. Certificate required prior to starting. For horses owned and qualified by members of the Rotorua and Bay of Plenty Hunt Club that have not won a race of any description to the valu'e of more than £100 or of the collective value of more than £250 prior to the time of starting. (Hunters races excepted). Over 7 flights of hurdles. Distance about 1! miles. Nomination 10/-. Acceptance 10/-. (4) Master's Handicap, of £60. Second horse to receive £10 and third horse £5 out of the stake. (Hack conditions). Distance 1 mile. Nomination 20/-. Acceptance 20/-. (5) Rotorua and Bay of Plenty Hunt Cup. (Handicap Steeplechase), of £70. Second horse to receive £10 and third horse £5 out of the stake. For qualified hunters. Certificate required prior to starting. Distance about 3 miles. (Nomination 20/-. Acceptance 30/-. (6) Ladies' Bracelet Handicap. First prize trophy valued £15; a second trophy valu-ed £5 and third prize trophy valued at £3. For qujalified hunters 1932-33. Certificate required prior to starting. For horses owned and qualified by members of the Rotorua and Bay of Plenty Hunt Club that have not won a race of any description to the value of more1 than £100 or of the collective value of more than £250 prior to time of starting. (Hunters races excepted). Gentlemen riders. Mjinimum weight 10 stone. Distance 1 mile. Nomination 10/-. Acceptance 5/-. (7) Huntsman's Handicap, of £50. Second horse to receive £10 and third horse £5 out of the stake. For three-year-olds and upwards that have not won a flat race to the value of more than £100 or of the collective value of more than £250 prior to time of nomination.^ (Hack conditions).
