All horses an this race must have been trained for one month imniediately prior to the time of starting by owner, who must not at any time have received payment for training or riding a horse in any country. Gentlemen riders. Mdndmum weight 11 stone. Distance about 2! miles. Nomination 20/-. Acceptance 10/-. (2) Maiden Handicap, of £30. Second horse to receive £5 and third horse £3 out of the stake. For horses that have never won a flat race at a totalisator meeting prior to starting. Minimum weight 8 stone. Distance, 6 furlongs. Nomination 10/-.
