WOMAN'S JEALOUSY
Frantic jealousy had surprising results in Paris. A woman, Madame Marceau had been keeping company with Joseph Chavagne, a hospital orderly. He had been separated from his wife, but had become reconciled. That day he brought Madame Marceau a chicken, which she £|greed to dress for Chavagne and his wife. During the process she carefully inserted, inside the chicken, dozens of gramophone and sewing needles. The discovery was made when the wife, eating a generous portion of the chicken, felt something pierce her lip. Madame Marceau was sentenced to prison for 18 months, but was released as a first orfendcr.
