Great Britain is basking during th'e Witsuntide holiday in almost tropical sunshine. In London, the temperatures are 120 degrees in the sun and 80 in the shade. It is the warmest early June for many years. All resorts are crowded, and the railways with' the penny a mile traffic are the cheapest for 20 years. Many foreign visitors, ineluding 800 international qampers, are occupying 500 tents at Hampton Park Court, which the King lent.
