GIGANTIC STATUE OF LENIN ON OLD CATHEDRAL SITE

Rec. June 1, 7 p.m. London, May 31. The Daily Guardian's Moscow correspondent says that a gigantic statue of Lenin, 160 feet high will replace the former golden dome in the Cathedral of the Saviour, as the most outstanding feature on the Moscow landscape. The immense statue, it is stated, will crown the grandiose structure twhich is being erected on the site formerly occupied by the cathedral v/hich was demolished in 1932.
