MR. LANG FIGHTING FOR POLITICAL LIFE AT BULLI
— By Telegraph — Copyright) .
Rec. May 28. Sydney, May 27. The Bulli eleetion campaign has become extremely bitter, Mr. A. C. Willis the f ormer Agent-General, and now the miners' candidate in a typical coal mining constituency, having come into conflict with the Lang forces. He is hailed by Mr. Lang as a top hatted gentleman, fresh from the halls of Westminster. The press is unanimous in saying that the challenge to Langism has come sooner than expected, and Mr. Lang is making the Bulli e'ampaign a fight for his own political existence. He will spend the best part of next week in that electorate on behalf of Mr. Sweeney, the candidate selected 'to carry the inner Labour group's banner. However, it is announced that Mr. •' Willis commands the entire followi ing of the miners' federation, and he is regarded as certain to win the seat.
