Rec. May 26, 11.50 p.m. Lond'on, May 26. The death has occurred of Mr. Horatio Bottomley. Mrs. Lowe, Mr. Bottomley's lif e-long friend, said that death was hastened by the cruel refusal of the old aged pension. Horatio Bottomley prior to the war and during the war years, was a very well known public figure and propagandist. His collapse came when he was prosecuted for fraud in connection with a number of companies in i which he was interested. H© was sentenced to a term of imprisonment and ' after his discharge was in very reduc\ed circumstanees. He had recently unsuccessf ully applied for the old age pension. '
