L. Paterson, S.M.,Roi« rua, how ever, will still remain in !■ Paterson's district and although ifl wlill ti'ansfer hiis residence to tjfl f uture headquarters at Hamilton, m9 Paterson will still continue to presiifl pver the sittinjgs of the court Rotorua and at Taupo. S Under the new arrangemeaB Whakatane and Opotiki, which wdH preyiously in Mr. Paterson's dish^H \yill be under the Thames and borne magistrates respectiy^H Whakatane will he administereifr^B Gisborne until July 1 when W. Platts, S.M., of Hamilton who he in charge of the Thames disfrit^^ will be ijts presiding magistrate. O^H tiki will continue in ihe Gisho^H district, for which' Mr. E. L. Waitui has recently been appointed stipea^H ary magistrate. Tauranga and:^H Puke, will in futm*e be in the Thai^H district under Mr. Platts. . Mr. Paterson will have his quarters at Hamilton and will inj^H dition preside at sittings of the in Rotorua, Putaruru, Matam^H Cambridge, Taupo, Kawhia and lan. ie Kuiti and Te Awamutu wf^H transferred to th'e Onehunga dis^^| and several district courts previo^^^H in that district will b.e transfenc^^B the Auckland city district.
