The Gav«rnment meteoroloplst l«- j eued the-followlng weather report and forecast last niyht: — ^ - ' | General situation: A deep cyclone is now ce'ntred east of the Auckland Peninsula, and another is located south-west of the Tasman Forecast: Winds south -easterly north of Greymouth and Akaroa, stropg to gale force in and north pf Cook Strait, eisewhere moderate to ~fresh east to north-east. Weather: Cloudy to overcast, much mist with rain in * eastern districts 'north of Banks Peninsula and over most of the Auckland Province, eisewhere little rain, sorpe improvement likely generally to-mdhrow. Temperatures cool.
