New Plymoutli, Thursday. A series of Tbookmaking ch'arges, resulting from recent police raids, was heard in the New Plymouth Court to-day, when the jury, after four hours' retirement, failed to reach an agreement on a charge against Sydney Roy Lovall, hairdresser. An application for a new trial was granted.
