GRAND THEATRE
TO-NIGHT. That tragic events almost inevitably follow great happiness, and that any person, granted three wishes, eventually would regret them, was the theme taken by W. Wynmark Jacobs, noted English sh'ort story writer in "The Monkey's Paw," RKO-Radio Pictures' dramatisation of this famous story. In it a quiet family in rural England is given a Hindu charm of reputed miraculous power. They refuse to accept these iiowers, at first, hut subsequent events indicate the supernatural and amazing adventures follow. Betty Lawford, Bramwell Fletcher, Ivan Simpson, C. Aubrey Smith, Louise Carter and other noted players are featured in th'e cast.
