SHEEP STEALING
KOTARE FARMER FOUND GUILTY ON FIVE COUNTS New Plymouth, Wednesday Guilty on all charges was the verdict in a case in which Andrew Charles William Crause, farmer of Kotare, was charged on five counts with stealing from neighbours, 73 sheep valued at £36. The evidence largely consisted of discussion of. earmarks. Mr. Justice Reid remarlced that this was the first time he had heard the reliability of ear marking. Crause was remanded for sentence.
