King's Birthday Golf

On the King's Birthday, June 3, p, special series of competitions has been arranged by the Motntara Golf Club. In the morning mixed four- • somes will be played. while the afternoon will be devoted to games unkler stroke competition rules. For .these competitions special trophies will be provided, a small entry fee /being charged each competitor. Dancing and Cards To-night Dancing enthusiasts and card players are reminded that to-night the Rangi Rebekah Lodge will commence a series of social evenings in the Majestic Ballroom. An energetic committee have been busy making arrangements which should ensure the /complete success of the evening and make it one of the most successful held by the lodge. The fare provided at the very moderate admission charge of one shilling is exceptional.
