Rec. May 20. Peking, May 17. A Japanese bomber carrying twelve bombs fiew over Peking this morning-. It dropped no bombs but three Chinese were injured by falling shrapnel and bullets fired from anti-air-craft batteries. The third visitation caused considerable excitement among the native population and it is regarded in diplomatic circles as highly provocative action on the part of Japan, but so far no protest has been lodged.
