TRIBUTE TO MAYOR
(To the Editor.) Sir, — On behalf of the friends of ths Soviet Union I wish to make public my organisation's appreciation of the fact that your mayor, Mr. Jackson, president over our initial Rotorua meeting on Thursday. H/is openminded attitude towards th'e whole subject and his impartiality are, in our opinion, most commendable and are a change from the more usual ■bigotted closed-minded attitude of so many people to any knowledge of Scviet affairs. — I am, etc., MAX RISKE, M.A. National Secretary, F.S.U.
