NATIONAL SCHEME MOOTED Christchurch, Friday. Important proposals of a national scheme of research into the qu'ality of New Zealand wool with the object of bringing about an improvement in the standard of exported products, are to. be placed hefore the Dominion conference of sheep breeders, to be held at Massey Agricultural College on Friday The Government has decided to support the big movement decided upon by the sheep owners, and the Minister of Agriculture, the Hon. C. E. Macmillan, will represent the Government at the conference. The conference will be asked to decide whe.ther a general scheme of research is desirable and whether it would be possible to provide the necessary funds for this work.
