WARNOCK'S PRODUCTS

POPULAR ON THE MARKET. HIGHEST QUALITY MAINTAINED Experience hias sh'own that New ' Zealand enterprise and wo'rkmen, given the opportunity," produce goods equal to anything manufactured elsewhere dn the world and at competitive prices. The soap manufacturing industry is a striking instance of what ean he done in the way of secoudary industries in this country. Probably the best example is furnished by the old established and well-known firm of Warnock Bros., of Auckland. Here is a firm established away back dn 1862, when the Dominion was but a tiny colony land with the echoes of the Maori Wars still ringing in the ears of the colonists. Warnocks, however, had faith in the future of the country, and their business reeord shows that . this faith was well founded. Since that time the firm has uninterrupted-

]y been manufacturing soap, not only for the home market, but for the export trade as well. In 1918 the firm* was f ormed into . a liniited liability company, but to this day one of the original founders is still takmg an active part dn the nianufacture. The seed of industry planted so long ago soon began to grow sturdy and, ias time went on, branched out into other allied lines, such as pumice sandsoap, soda crystals, soap powders, glycerine, bonedust, etc.

These goods have been marketed under brands which have become noted for quality and excellence._ In their seventy years of manufacturing, Messrs. Warnocks never lost sight of the necessity of maintiaing_ a high quality in their goods. This policy is endorsed to-day by the widespread demand for their brands, such as Kia Ora, Veribest, Coronation Soap, Electric Sandsoap, Electric Soap Powder, Kia Ora Soda Crystals, and Bonedust. „ In addition to the above manufac- . turing operations, the firm has also a well-established tanning industry and is dn a position to supply the trade with high standard sole leather and dressed leather made from New Zealand hides. Local industries of long standing, such as that of Messrs. Warnock Bros. Ltd., have done, and are still doing, incalculable benefit to th'e country by providing employment and maintaining prosperity. Readers should bear this in mdnd when shopping and should express a preference for the above mentioned brands. In another page of this issue the firm has a business announcement which. should bo read with interest.
