MONEY IN OLD CUSHION
The antique' shops of Paris were stormed recently by a flood of deniands for old pillows, cusbions, mat- | tresses and overstuffed furniture. The ! reason was a. diseovery of more than j 100,000 franes inside an old cushion j at the Hotel Drouot, the city's leading auction establishment. | Durinig an uninteresting session a number of buyers began to play catch . with an old threadhare, discarded ; cushion, throwing it vigorously from I one to another until its outworn cover i gave way. A number of 1000 francs ' fell out. As the former owner had no heirs all the money went to the State.
