The Wynbei-g suhurb of Capetown supplied a surprise by returning Sir Joseph Robinson, ia son of the deceased miniiig: magnate, who is not attached to any party. Mr. Madeley retained the Benoni seat. Mr. McArthur captured Umbilo for Labour. Mr. Greyville was returned for Darbyshire. He is the first Home |R,ule mernher. Port Elizabeth returned Mr. Hii-sch, an Independent and a prominent foothaller. .
