MINISTERIAL VISITORS
IIONS. RANSOM AND MacMILLAN WILL VISIT ROTORUA TOURS OF INSPECTION * Rotorua is to have two members of the Cabinet spendinig: the week-end here. They are the Hons. C. E. Macrnillan Minister of Agriculture and E. A. Ransom, Minister of Lands. Mr. MacMillan who has been visiting the Whakatane Show arrives in Rotorua this morning and will make ■a tour of inspection in connection with his department. On Saturday he will attend the Rotorua Trotting Club's inaugural meeting at Arawia Park and will then join with his colleague in a tour of inspection of the various settlements in the district. Mr. |R,ansom will arrive on Saturday and will also attend the trots where he will present soxne of the trophies. He will also open the A. and P. Show. He later is to visit Ngakuru, Hoi*o Horo, Galatea 'and Te Teko. It is evident that the settlement schemes in this area are attracting a good deal of Government ia.ttention and there will be a good deal of interest in the results of the visits.
