May 15, 8.45 p.m. London, May 15. , The Daily Herald's diplomatic V-orrespondent says that the French (General Staff is perturbed by the in'dormation that Germany during the ,,past few months has been manufacturing six ineh Howitzers at the •Rhone metal works at Dusseldorf, -though this type is prohibited by the 'Versailles Treaty. The Dusseldorf works are manned \by picked Nazis, and no others are ■allowed near the machine shop.
