TO-NIGHT. Chorus girls and cowboys cavortfor fun !and thrills in the musical ! comedy-drama, "Under Montana Skies," which opened last night at the Grand Theatre. Kenneth Harlan, '• Dorothy Gulliver, Slim Summerviller ; Nita Martan, Ethel Wales, Harry 1 1 Todd, Lafe McKee and Christian J. Frank comprise the cast. "Under Montana Skies," an original story by James K. Aubrey, tells the .stoi-y of the fortunes and misfortunes of a theatrical troupe that gets locked up in the small Western town ' of Red Rock. Their board bill is unpaid, for the simple season that the ! manager has decamped with what funds there were. Clay Conning played hy Kenneth Harlan and his cowboy friends seek- » ing entertainment, go to Red Rock ■ to see the show and when they find there can be no performance because of the plight of th& troupe, Clay sets about to do something. What he does results in no little excitement and romance.
