London, May 12. At the wool saies 8487 hales were offered, including 6151 of New Zealand. About 7461 hales were sold. The market showed ia firm tone, with ari active Home and Continental competition. The' offerinigs were readily absorbed, prices moving in sellers' favour. The finer growths 'are now 15 per cent. ahove last saies. New Zealand clips: Greasy crossbred "J. in G." top price lOd, average 5|d; scoured Me'rinos, "Mount Edward," 19d to 18|d.
