DOUGLAS SOCIAL CREDIT
JOHN
MITCHELL.
(To the Editor.) Sir, — I observe among your "Public Notices" that a lecture is to be delivered in the Lyric Theatre this evening at 8 p.m. by Mr. A. R. Allardyce, Dominion slecretary, u,pon "Douglas SociiaJ Credit". On Wednesday night last I attended his lecture in Hamilton. There was an audience of some three hundred (barely standing room). Great satisfaction and enthusi'asm were manifested by three hearty cheers given for the lecturer and, inferentially, for his subject. There is very real and widespread interest being taken in the district series of lectures. The movement is quite distinct from any political party. It is quite educational, informing and ethical: its objective being of deep interest to. 'all earnest, anxious, suffering, Christian people. It is to be hoped that all such will attend and ni-nfit. Phprplw nncnrdiriS'lv. — I am. etc..
