HITLERISM TO-DAY MORE DANGEROUS THAN BOLSHEVISM

(Press Assn.-

USE ECONOMIC PRESSURE

— By Telegraph — Copyright).

Rec. May 12, 7.15 p.m. London, May 12. "Germans refuse to recognise intellectual and moral grounds of humanity and seem to be deliberately ■ cutting themselves off from civilisation," said Professor Haldane addressing the London University Union prior to the passage of a resolution protesting against the persecution of Jews, and appointing a committee to fight Hitlerism. Professor Haldane added: "Mur- [ ders and niutilation were relatively unimportant compared with the attempt to starve 1,000,000 Jews to death in default of their departure from the country. Hitlerism was more terrible than Bolshevism. "Most Britons are tending to recognise coloured peoples as equal as the French already do, to the horror of Herr Hitler, who branded coloured people as untouchahle. "We must smash Hitlerism by economic pressure, and succour refugees to prevent the spread of German Fascism here, and boycott German goods, if necessary forcibly." Professor Lancelot Hogben said that nobody was more responsible 'than Mr. MacDonald for plaeing and keeping Hitler in the saddle.
