London, May 9. Miss Jean Batten, the Auckland aviatrix, who recently set out from - England for Australia, in an attempt to set up a new reeord but met with i a mishap in the East, has returned to /England. She is preparing for a s'econd attempt to fly to Australia in September after the monsoons. In the meantime she is piloting a commercial maehine on passenger trips at seaside resorts to regain some ' of the money lost on her late flight.
