AND IS FINED 4s. While P.C. William Hayes was on duty in Reading one day he notiiced a chimney burning, ,and found that the smoke was issuing from the chimney of his own house. He reported himself to the chief constahle, a summons was issued, and he was fined 4s for being the oecupier of premises in whiich a chimney caught fire.
