/ Wellington, Thursday. A Sydney cablegram states that the repair -ship, Reeorder, formerly fhe Iris, located a fault in one- of the cables between Sydney and Auckland. The defect occurred about four miles from Bondi. It was decided to lay about six miles of new cable and the work was completed yesterday. The Reeorder will leave for Auckland to-day.
