Hamilton, Thursday. The only development to-day in connection with the coal deadlock is a report that a meeting will be held at Huntly between representatives of the direetorate of the Taupiri Comi pany and the members of the North- • ern Miners' District Council. Colonel W. D. Holgate, the Hon. E. W. Alison and Messrs Parker and Souter, of the Taupiri Company, went to Huntly this morning. The result of the ballot taken by the miners on the proposal to resume work, which result was a decision to continue the strike, is. being referred to the National Miners' Council.
