CENSURED FOR ARTICLE ON LANDING IN POLAND
(Press Assn.-
ACTION BY AERO CLUB
— By Telegraph — Copyright).
Rec. May 4. London, May 3. The Aero Club has censured Mrs. Amy Mollison's recent article published in the Sunday newspapers containing "a somewhat lurid description of a forced landing in Poland." The Polish Aero Club protested to the British Club, which has written to Mrs. Mollison to the effect that it is satisfied her statement is baseless. It cannot accept the explanation that the fact were distorted without her knowledge, as the responsibility for signed articles rests with herself. The club counts it a matter of honour that misrepresentations should not be returned for hospitality. The club has been induced by the gravity of the affront to Polish air- | men, to inform Mrs. Amy Mollison of its disapprobation. A copy has been forwarded to Poland, accompanied by apolog'ies and an expression of appreciation of Polish hospitality.
