BIG WESTFIELD YARDING SEES PRIGES FALL Aucldand, Wednesday The Loan and Mercantile Agency Oompany, Limited, report: — At our weekly Westfield fat stock market to-day, beef was penned in large numbers, including many lines of choice and prime cattle. There was a falling-off in demand, and values receded ls to 2s per lOOlbs. Extra choice ox sold at 19s per lOOlbs, choice and prime 16s to 18s, secondary and plain 13s to 15s, prime young cow and heifer heef 15s to 18s, secondary, 10s to 14s. Heavy prime steers ranged in price from" £6 5s to £7 7s 6d; lighter, £5 7s 6d to £6- ?s 6d; light, £4 5s to £5 5s; small' and unfinished, £2 10s to £4 2s 6d; extra heavy prime young cows and heifers, £4 5s to £4 15s; heavy, £3 12s 6d to £4 2s 6d; lighter, £2 17s 6d to £3- 10s; light, £2 to £2 15s; others, 20s to 37s 6d.
