WOMEN'S GOLF

MISS BARNES-GRAHAM WINS THE WELLINGTON TITLE Wellington, Wednesday. Miss Barnes-Graham of Gisborne, earned the reward of brilliant play in the provincial golf championship, when she defeated Miss P. Fleming of Christchurch in the final game which was taken to the twentieth hole. The new champion played a beautiful chip to the lip of the hole, taking five to her opponent's six. The Heretaunga trophy was won by Miss Chrystall, who beat Miss Vincent, two and one. The medal f oursome was won by Mrs. Culling and Miss Rathbone of Auckland, the card reading 87-9-78.
