DERATING
•OPOTIKI MEETING The Opotiki branch of the Farmers' Union announces that a meeting of county ratepayers will be held in the Regent Theatre on Thursday, May 4, to discuss the derating of farm lands. It is anticipated that there will be a very large attendance as Messrs. H. O. Mellsop (Coromandel) and D. B. Uliggins (Matamata) will be among 'the speakers. The general public are "cordially invited to attend.
