Rec. April 30, 5.5 p.m. Washington, Api'il 29. Mr. R. B. Bennett and Mr. Roosevelt announced an understanding regarding economic improvement. It is also stated that they agreed to begin a search for a means to increase the exchange of commodities between the two countries. They declared that it is imperative that a practicable international monetary standard should be restored. An improvement in the silver price is Jalso Under consideration.
