WRECKAGE FOUND
WORKMAN'S DISCOYERY (Rec. April 29.) London, April 28. A worker was proceeding to duty when he discovered the body of Mr. Bert Hinkler in a barren area seldom traversed in the Tuscan Mountains, several hours' walk from the Castello Franco di Sopra. There was a deep wound in Mr. Ilinkler's bead, .apparently sustained when he was thrown from the machine a3 it crashed. The body, which was almost unrecognisable, was found one hundred yards from the machine. Three of the petrol tanks were empty. The fourth contained a little petrol and the oil tanlc was completely dry. Pieces of ivreckage were strewn over a. wide area. A watch found on the body had stopped at three o'clock, presumably ten hours after leaving Feltham. The body of Hinkler, besides being partly burned, had been mutilated, probably by foxe3 or wolves.
