flower show SPLENDID DISPLAY OF CHRYSANTHEMUM BLOOMS SUN.SHINE LEAGUE'S FIXTURE

(From

There was an exceptionally large number of entries in the Sunshine League's chrysanthemum show held in the Lyric Hall on Thursday. The chrysanthemum blooms _ were magnificent and varied and the judges had great difficulty in naming the winners. The four courts arranged by the Opotiki, Otara, Waiotahi and Woodlands Women's Institutes exhibited some of the members' handwork. The artistic ways in which the courts were arranged were very effeetive and real.
