MR. MacDONALD DEPARTS Rec. April 27, 8.30 p.m. New York, April 26. Addressing the Pilgrim Society tonight Mr. Ramsay MacDonald said that he hoped the United States and Great Britain would sit on the same side of the table at the forthcoming Economic Conference. He said that no more pleasing act could come to the nations of the world than that Great Britain and America shouid maintain affectionate relations. The Prime Minister bade America farewell and left for home by ^the Berengaria shortly before midnight.
