SPECTATORS ENCROACHING ON GROUNDS TO BE DEALT WITH
SATURDAY'S FIXTURES
The regular weekly meeting of the executive of the Rotorua Rugby SubUnion was held on Monday night, Mr. T. S. Robertson presiding. The encroachment of spectators on the playing area at Arawa Park was • again brought under the notice of the executive, and it was decided that in . future the names of trespassers should be taken by the referee in charge of the game, and that they should be prosecuted. It was decided that all junior football should be open weight during the first round, and that teams should be classified before the commencement of the second round. It was intimated that the Higb School team would play in tbe open grade. Permission was given the High School first XV. to play its annual match with the Old Boys at Arawa Park. The game will be staged later in the season. Police Court proceedings against two men, E. L. Brown and R. Witi1 aranaa who were fined for assaulting the caretaker on Saturday last, were discussed and it was decided to warn the two individuals in question off grounds under the jurisdiction of the Rotorua Union for life. Fixtures for Saturday are as follows : — Seniors Rotoiti v. Waikite, No. 1 ground, 2.50 p.m., Dr. Wallis. Wairaiki v. Kahukura, No. 2 ground, 2.50 p.m., E. Riggs. Juniors Waikiti v. Old Boys B, No. 2 ground, 1.30 p.m., J. Doherty. Ngongotaha v. High School, No. 3 ground, 2.50 p.m., R. L. Wallace. Rotoiti v. Kaharoa, No. 3 ground, 1.30 p.m., R. Young. Whaka v. Kahukura, No. 1 ground, 1.30 p.m. R. J. Webb. Rotoiti B v. Utahina, No. 4 ground, 1.30 p.m., W. Young. Awahou v.. Old Boys A, No. 4, ground, 2.50 p.m. A. Wallace.
