_At a meeting of the Rotorua Municipal Band a very hearty vote of thanks was accorded the following gentlemen who placed their cars at the disposal of the band for transport to and from the reeent contest at Hamilton:— MesSrs. D. Steele, L. Ewert, M. Kunac, O. H. Coleman, W. Marks, Stewart and the management of the K.M.T. Co. Sp66ial reference was made to the valuahle assistance &iven by Sergeaiit-Majdf R. Devin of the Rotorua High School cadet company who acted as drufn inajor for the quick step event.
